🕊️ Slovenská sporiteľňa and the City of Bratislava have made one goal on the occasion of the anniversary of the Gentle Revolution — for people to not only remember, but truly experience November 1989. The monument on Freedom Square in Bratislava carries the message of thousands of people who were not afraid to step forward for freedom. The task was to create a digital platform that would convey this message to those who were not there then — or who simply do not remember it.

🤖 Key insight: everyone experiences history differently — depending on where they are in life. That's why the entire experience was built on the visitor's age. A person comes to the website, enters their age, and receives the story of the person who was closest to them in age in November 1989. The stories are generated by artificial intelligence in such a way that they directly transport the visitor to a specific moment of the revolution — not as an encyclopedic text, but as a personal statement. A total of 21 stories cover all age categories. Each story ends with a quote about freedom and courage.

🖥️ The project included project and content management of the entire platform. The website offers multiple layers — a timeline of the Gentle Revolution, a section on November 17th through the eyes of Slovenská sporiteľňa, the opportunity to share your own position with a banner, and is also available in English. Slobodajevasa.sk is not just a website. It is a digital monument that tells the same thing to every visitor — only in their own language.
